I'm a community health doctoral candidate preparing my dissertation research. I study a perinatal treatment model for substance use located in North Carolina. I have my graduate assistantship with Jackie Shannon, PhD at OHSU's Community Research Hub in Bend, OR. I conduct qualitative and mixed methods community-engaged research to advance equitable health promotion. Currently I work on a collaborative community-engaged project between OHSU, Oregon State University, and the Central Oregon Health Council examining 'sense of belong' within rural communities.
