Rose Goueth

GRU Steward Officer

Rose earned her BA in Mathematics from Smith College, where she focused on statistics and data science. She then moved on to Tulane University, where she received an MS in Biostatistics from the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Rose's thesis was informatics-heavy, where she conducted a time-series analysis on EHR upgrades and their impact on the alert override rate. While attending Tulane, she visited Portland and completed an internship with Kaiser Permanente analyzing health care data. Rose started in the OHSU Biomedical Informatics - Health & Clinical Informatics program in the Summer of 2018, now focusing on the development and evaluation of a reproductive health decision aids for young people in choosing a contraceptive.

In her free time, Rose loves to cook, bake, watch crime and medical drama re-runs, hang out with her cat Celeste and be your Steward officer! She hopes to establish a system that not only helps GRs but advocates for them when necessary.
