Megan Huber

GRU Data Officer

Megan joined the Harriff lab in 2017 and has been a graduate researcher since 2019. Their research explores the recognition of pulmonary pathogens like M. tuberculosis and S. pneumoniae by MR1-restricted T cells. They also study how cigarette smoke exposure or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) impacts this regulation of immune activation.

As the Data Officer, Megan is passionate about advocating for OHSU graduate researchers. Along with other important duties, they are especially excited to create and share many colorful graphs from survey responses. Megan lives in SE Portland with their partner Clare, cat Pixel, and ever-expanding collection of oversized winter sweaters.
