Sarah Cate Baker (she/her)

Sarah Cate is a fourth year PhD candidate in the Cell and Developmental Biology Department. In the lab of Dr. Julie Saugstad, she studies how extracellular vesicles contribute to neurodegenerative disease. Sarah Cate received her BS in biology from the University of Notre Dame, where she also double majored in English literature, and received an MS in Global Health at Trinity College Dublin. Sarah Cate volunteers with a number of OSHU organizations, including the Confidential Advocacy Program and Student Health Advisory Committee, and is excited to work with GRU as the External Relations Chair.
